Community

A network that does work, not just meets

Engineers, researchers and partner institutions connected through workshops, shared projects and international exchange β€” the layer that keeps the other four domains current.

The problem

What organisations run into

Events without follow-through

People meet, exchange cards, and nothing is built afterwards.

Local practice drifting from global

Teams work hard on methods the wider field moved past two years ago.

Students meeting industry too late

Graduates encounter real engineering practice only after they are hired.

What we deliver

How this domain works

  • Monthly workshop series

A recurring technical session with a working output, not a panel discussion.

  • International exchange

Links with partner universities and open source foundations abroad, used for real collaboration.

  • Student and graduate track

Structured entry points from campus into professional practice.

  • Shared open resources

Materials and code from the network published for reuse.

Engagement

From first conversation to handover

The same four steps apply across every domain. Order matters here β€” each step depends on the one before it.

  1. Scope

A working session to name the capability gap and the constraints around it β€” budget, calendar, existing tools.

  2. Design

A written programme outline: modules, hours, exercises and the deliverable each participant produces.

  3. Deliver

Onsite, online or hybrid, in cohorts sized so every participant gets time with an instructor.

  4. Hand over

Materials, assessment results and a short report on what the cohort can now do that it could not before.
